Just like “Orange is the New Black”, “Facebook is now the New Website” many businesses are active on Facebook and the majority are using the platform as their main online presentation. If you, as an entrepreneur fit within this category, then this article is for you. Within the next paragraphs you will learn four (4) Facebook hacks that will give you that advantage of using your Facebook Page as a website.

Use the tabs.
Facebook offers tab sections where you can add different categories to your Facebook Page. Some of the tabs that you can include are:

  • Services
  • Shop
  • Menu
  • Reviews
  • Jobs
  • Offer

Use the “Tab” feature to display more information about your business. This is a great feature that allows you to showcase your Business Facebook Page as a website.

Declutter your pictures into folders.
Most people are lazy. I don’t mean to offend anybody but it’s the truth. Especially in this era of instant gratification. We want to find everything quick and fast. And the sooner the better. You can make this happen for your visitors by simply using and organizing the photos in their respective folders within Facebook.

Simply create specific folders for specific products or services. This way your visitors don’t have to navigate through your entire timeline or all of your pictures. This will save you time and it will generate you more business. In addition, you can share the link of the folder with your prospects via messenger or share it as a post.

Remember if a visitor can’t find what he or she is looking for they will end up going with your competitor. So, take advantage and use Facebook wisely.

Put in all of your contact information.
While doing a research for potential clients I noticed something very disappointing and awkward. They had a Business Facebook Page however their profiles were not fully developed. They only had a phone number and an e-mail. And that was it. They didn’t put in the effort to filling in all of the information. It seemed as if they were ignorant about how Facebook algorithms work.

If you want to have a successful Facebook Business Page take the time and fill out most of the information. This helps the people who are visiting your page get more information on what your business is all about. In addition, having most of the sections filled out gives your business more relevance when it comes to search results, algorithms and consideration into the people minds.

Take advantage of the Description.
Write down a full description within your image. This will advantage when people are searching over Facebook. Don’t forget to include keywords on regards to your product or service and also include a call to action plus some of your main contact information.

Facebook is great tool for business. It’s a way to start your online presentation. It’s also a great platform for reach, engage and building a community. However, I will not suggest that you depend on Facebook has you only online presentation. Build up your Business Facebook Page put out great content and use that content to build your business website. If you have any questions or need any assistance feel to reach out.
